Suicide Prevention Coalition

The Garland County Suicide Prevention Coalition (GCSPC) was established in August 2014, when Project H.O.P.E (Health, Opportunities, People and Education) tasked a subcommittee to address the community problem after high county suicide data was brought to the groups attention.

GCSPC  is one of a handful of communities across the state actively working toward lowering the rate of suicide.

Key collaborators of the coalition include mental health and health care professionals, educators, local law enforcement, first responders, students, loss and attempt survivors, volunteers, and various other community members and organizations who all have a desire to address this alarming problem.
